Chemical and Environmental

Part of the Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Engineering program

Students must complete for the BE/ME (Chemical & Environmental Engineering Plan code: CHENVW2327), #80 comprising:

  1. #36, all courses from Part A, Years 1 to 3 of the BE (Chemical) list; and
  2. #8, all courses from Group A, Years 1 to 3 of the Environmental Engineering Minor in the BE (Chemical) list; and
  3. #30, all compulsory courses listed in Part M; and
  4. The balance from electives, with:
    (i) a maximum of #4 of courses from B0 in the BE (Chemical) list;
    (ii) a maximum of #4 of level 1 courses not on the BE or BE/MElist.
Selection of courses which are not on the BE or BE/ME list require the approval of the Executive Dean.

For students who started the BE in 2009 - 2011, there are transition arrangements in place to enable them to do the BE/ME.
