As the highest award in agricultural science, the Doctor of Agricultural Science is designed to give formal public recognition to eminent scholars who have made substantial, original and distinguished contributions to the field of agricultural science.
What you can study
No formal study or assessment is undertaken in this program. Applicants must submit published material as a thesis which constitute an original and important contribution to scientific knowledge and evidences an eminent research career in agricultural science.
Entry into the program is by application to, and acceptance by, the Faculty of Science Higher Doctorate Committee.
Students interested in undertaking a research higher degree such as a PhD should refer to the Graduate School website.
