Why study the Master of Bioinformatics?

There is a world shortage of bioinformaticists. The Master of Bioinformatics (32 units) is designed for biological sciences, computing and mathematics graduates who wish to increase their technical and research skills in core areas of bioinformatics; to update their knowledge of recent technologies and methodologies; and to obtain practical laboratory and computational skills through immersion in a research laboratory. The program enables candidates to develop and effectively use best bioinformatics practice to solve complex scientific problems. It will also provide a preparation for entry into a Research Higher Degree program.
