- a 4-year bachelor's degree in engineering (or equivalent) which includes all of the relevant discipline content (see below), or
- to have successfully completed 3 years of study towards an approved qualification at an overseas partner institution, with a formal pathway to the Master of Software Engineering (Professional).

What you can do with a Master of Software Engineering (Professional)
Careers
Accredited software engineers establish their own companies or work with large corporations in the areas of software design, development and advancement. Diverse roles are available, ranging from information security analysts, computer and multimedia programmers, through to software developers and information systems managers. Graduates also find employment as network managers with oversight of all company data including databases and storage. Program rules for the Master of Software Engineering (Professional)
To complete the Master of Software Engineering (Professional)
To graduate with a Master of Software Engineering (Professional) a student must have successfully completed all requirements of the program as certified by the Executive Dean. This includes courses to be taken to complete the program and any other specific conditions of the program including admission, enrolment and progression requirements.
