Why study the Graduate Certificate in Atrocity Prevention?
The Graduate Certificate in Atrocity Prevention is a coursework program aimed at developing practical skills relating to the prevention of mass atrocities. The program offers courses through intensive mode, and is targeted at practitioners within the Asia Pacific region from governments, civil society organizations, and international organizations. It is the first program of this kind in the Asia Pacific region, and only the second globally. Students who successfully complete the Graduate Certificate in Atrocity Prevention may be eligible to articulate to either the 24 unit or the 32 unit Master of Peace and Conflict Studies.

To fulfil the requirements of the Graduate Certificate in Atrocity Prevention, a student must complete the requisite number of courses chosen from the course list in accordance with the Program Rules.
