An approved 4-year bachelor degree in psychology (Honours I or IIA) or a combination of an approved 4-year degree in psychology and an approved masters degree. Applicants must be eligible for provisional or if applicable, full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia. Applicants with non-Australian degrees must have their qualifications assessed by the APS.

Why study the Doctor of Psychology?
This program is intended for practitioners who aspire to excellence and leadership in the profession of clinical psychology. The program entails a substantial empirical research thesis, specialist placements and advanced professionally oriented coursework, with opportunities for specialist concentration in areas such as child and family, clinical neuropsychology and older adults. Student's will gain a foundational knowledge of scientific bases and practice of clinical psychology as well as undertaking training in clinical practice which employs evidence-based best practice models in mental health settings.

To complete the Doctor of Psychology
To graduate with a Doctor of Psychology a student must have successfully completed all requirements of the program as certified by the Executive Dean. This includes courses to be taken to complete the program and any other specific conditions of the program including admission, enrolment and progression requirements.
