Why study the Master of Bioinformatics Research Extensive?
There is a world shortage of bioinformaticists. The Master of Bioinformatics Research Extensive (#32) is designed for biological sciences, computing and mathematics graduates who wish to increase their technical and research skills in core areas of bioinformatics; to update their knowledge of recent technologies and methodologies; and to obtain practical laboratory and computational skills through prolonged immersion in a research laboratory. The program enables candidates to develop and effectively use best bioinformatics practice to solve complex scientific problems. It will also provide a strong preparation for entry into a Research Higher Degree program.

To complete the Master of Bioinformatics Research Extensive
To graduate with a Master of Bioinformatics Research Extensive a student must have successfully completed all requirements of the program as certified by the Executive Dean. This includes courses to be taken to complete the program and any other specific conditions of the program including admission, enrolment and progression requirements.
