- a 4-year bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline (see below), or
- a 4-year bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in engineering which includes all of the relevant discipline content.
* Please note that if a graduate certificate (or graduate diploma) from the same program suite is used as the basis of entry into the program and you do not have a degree in the relevant discipline, you will not be eligible for credit towards the Masters program.

The 16 unit program is available to applicants with an approved 4 year degree in the same field of study. Students in this program are taught by staff who are internationally recognised as leading experts in their fields, using state-of-the-art facilities.

What you can do with a Master of Engineering Science
Careers
Master of Engineering graduates have acquired experience that enables them to cross disciplinary boundaries, and are equipped to take on advanced engineering work. They will have a combination of business, problem solving and interpersonal skills; as well as technical engineering experience that will enable them to understand markets and develop relationships of trust with customers, suppliers, business partners, and to work within teams.

To complete the Master of Engineering Science
To graduate with a Master of Engineering Science a student must have successfully completed all requirements of the program as certified by the Executive Dean. This includes courses to be taken to complete the program and any other specific conditions of the program including admission, enrolment and progression requirements.
