- a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science or software engineering, or
- a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) which includes all of the relevant discipline content (see below), or
- to have completed post-secondary studies and 2 years full-time equivalent relevant work experience (see below). Applications based on post-secondary study and/or work experience will be individually assessed.

Why study the Graduate Certificate in Computer Science?
The Graduate Certificate in Computer Science (GCCompSc) focuses on preparing ICT professionals with a Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Information Technology for the challenges of rapidly advancing ICT technologies. Program rules for the Graduate Certificate in Computer Science
To complete the Graduate Certificate in Computer Science
To graduate with a Graduate Certificate in Computer Science a student must have successfully completed all requirements of the program as certified by the Executive Dean. This includes courses to be taken to complete the program and any other specific conditions of the program including admission, enrolment and progression requirements.
