A four year degree with a major in statistics.
International students who wish to undertake this program will not qualify for a Student Visa. What you can do with a Master of Biostatistics
Careers
There is an on-going shortage of skilled biostatisticians in Australia and around the world. Graduates in biostatistics have substantial opportunities in the public health sector, medical research and the pharmaceutical industry. This program aims to fill the gap between programs in public health and epidemiology (which train users of biostatistical methods, not professional biostatisticians) and general statistics programs ( which do not cater for the diverse and specialised needs in health research).
