Entry requirements
Prerequisites
Applicants must:
- hold an approved degree with a GPA of 5+; or
- hold a degree in another discipline with a GPA of 5+ & have completed 12 months FT work in an approved health care setting; or
- hold the Grad Cert and/or Grad Dip in Epidemiology from the University (or equivalent).
- Passed a tertiary quantitative research methods course with a grade of 5+; or
- Demonstrate an active contribution to a research publication; or
- Provide a report from a referee or research mentor confirming skills and experience with health-related quantitative research.

Why study the Master of Epidemiology?
This program aims to provide structured coursework, developing epidemiological, biostatistical and methodological skills to an advanced level.
All expenses incurred with dissertation are the responsibility of the student.
Due to the sequencing of courses this program cannot be studied full-time if commenced in Semester 2.
Limited Summer Semester entry is available to domestic students only as elective courses only are offered in that semester.
