Prerequisites
- a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in medicine, plus 2 years full-time equivalent post qualification clinical practice, and
- you must have access to and have obtained any necessary permission for the use of appropriate and sufficient clinical cases in order to complete the program.
You must have a grade point average (GPA) of 4.0 on a 7-point scale in your previous qualification.
International students who wish to undertake this program will not qualify for a Student Visa. To study this program in Australia, international students must hold alternative Australian Visa/Residency status with a sufficient study entitlement. See Department of Home Affairs for further details. Alternatively, for programs available in 'External' mode, students may study from their home country.

Why study the Master of Medicine?
The Master of Medicine (Skin Cancer) degree is a coursework degree program designed to provide comprehensive training in the diagnosis and management of skin cancer and builds on the foundation of the courses in the Graduate Certificate in Medicine (Skin Cancer). It is designed for all medical practitioners who work in the field of skin cancer. Upon completion, graduates will have received advanced instruction on skin cancer diagnosis and management including instruction on the critical evaluation of published research. The course is delivered entirely online.
What you can study
This Master of Medicine degree is by coursework rather than research and is thus structured to provide comprehensive teaching on skin cancer diagnosis and treatment. The program is delivered online as a series of courses in sequential order.

To complete the Master of Medicine
To graduate with a Master of Medicine a student must have successfully completed all requirements of the program as certified by the Executive Dean. This includes courses to be taken to complete the program and any other specific conditions of the program including admission, enrolment and progression requirements.
