Why study the Master of Medicine?
This program offers continuing profession education for primary care and specialist doctors working in specialist practice with a special interest in skin cancer. It is also aimed at doctors preparing for a Fellowship pathway in one of the relevant Medical or Surgical Colleges, including:
- surgical oncology
- ENT
- plastic surgery
- anatomical pathology
- dermatology
- radiation oncology
- primary care
- specialist practice.
Note that the indicative fee refers to full-time study only. Part-time students are typically liable for 50% of the full-time fee per annum.
Only continuing students may enrol in the General Practice study plan which is being discontinued.
What you can study
This Master of Medicine degree is by coursework rather than research and is thus structured to provide comprehensive teaching on skin cancer diagnosis and treatment. The program is delivered online as a series of courses in sequential order.

Program rules for the Master of Medicine
To complete the Master of Medicine
To fulfil the requirements of the Master of Medicine, a student must complete the requisite number of courses chosen from the course list in accordance with the Program Rules.
A student is required to obtain #16 from the MMed list in the chosen field of study. Refer to the MMed Rules for further information.
