Additional application information
Please note that applicants who do not have a Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in the same discipline require a total of #32 to complete the Master program requirements - i.e., #24 for the Master program, plus #8 for the Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma. Students may be eligible for entry to the #24 Master of Communication program if they have completed the Graduate Certificate in Communication (without credit to the Master program) or the Graduate Diploma in Communication (maximum of #8 credit towards the Master program) if they have met the GPA requirement.

Why study the Graduate Diploma in Communication?
This program provides students with the knowledge and skills required to excel in the ever-expanding communication industries. The program is designed to enhance the skills of existing communication graduates and professionals. Courses are designed to increase understanding of the application of communication theory and research to health promotion, business, public relations, policy and politics, intercultural relations and globalisation. Students develop knowledge of communication dynamics, as well as practical professional skills.
Changes to this program and course list are planned for 2017 (subject to approval by university committees). Please note that options in 2017 may be different to those currently listed.
