The field of instrumental pedagogy cannot be studied full time and is therefore not available to international students. Students cannot commence the program in the field of instrumental pedagogy in second semester.

Why study the Graduate Diploma in Music?
These performance-based programs provide students with extended application of pedagogical principles, skills and resources in a workshop situation. Students have the opportunity to select courses in instrumental pedagogy, aural studies and methodology, choral or orchestral conducting and classroom pedagogy. Program rules for the Graduate Diploma in Music
To complete the Graduate Diploma in Music
To fulfil the requirements of the Graduate Diploma in Music, a student must complete the requisite number of courses chosen from the course list in accordance with the Program Rules.
A student is required to obtain #16 from the GDipMus List.
