- a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline (see below), or
- a graduate certificate or graduate diploma or master's degree in a relevant discipline (see below).
You must have a grade point average (GPA) of 4.5 on a 7-point scale in your previous qualification.
For the Leadership field of study, you'll also need:
- 5 years of supervisory or management experience, such as managing a team or people, client accounts or major projects, resource planning, or direct responsibility for financial delegations.

Why study the Graduate Diploma in Cyber Security?
The Graduate Diploma in Cyber Security provides a global perspective on cyber security and information security fundamentals, combined with a deep field of study specialisation. Students learn about the major cyber security challenges facing the world, and a range of responses including technical, policy, organisational, governance and geo-political.
Informed by the US National Institute of Standards and Technology's NICE (National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education) framework, the program brings a multi- and inter-disciplinary perspective to cyber security, with students learning how the broad range of skills and capabilities within the cyber security workforce interact.
The program offers four fields of study for students from a variety of academic backgrounds and experience, covering Cyber Defence, Cryptography, Cyber Criminology, and Leadership.

Program rules for the Graduate Diploma in Cyber Security
To complete the Graduate Diploma in Cyber Security
To graduate with a Graduate Diploma in Cyber Security a student must have successfully completed all requirements of the program as certified by the Executive Dean. This includes courses to be taken to complete the program and any other specific conditions of the program including admission, enrolment and progression requirements.
