Prerequisites

Either an approved degree in a relevant field with a GPA of at least 4.00 on a 7 point scale & 3 years relevant work experience including at least 1 year at supervisory/management level as approved by the executive dean, OR the GCBA from UQ with a GPA of at least 4.00 on a 7 point scale & 3 years relevant work experience including at least 1 year at supervisory/management level as approved by the executive dean, OR satisfactory progress in the GCBA from UQ & 3 years relevant work experience including at least 1 year at supervisory/management level as approved by the executive dean.

Additional application information

International applicants must complete the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) with a minimum score of 550.

A student may be required to pass a qualifying examination in basic computing, written communication and basic mathematics and statistics before enrolment is approved.

Students enrolling in the Graduate Diploma of Business Administration can design their own program and select from courses in marketing, international business, business economics, accounting, finance, public administration, or several other business- related fields.

To complete the Graduate Diploma in Business Administration

To fulfil the requirements of the Graduate Diploma in Business Administration, a student must complete the requisite number of courses chosen from the course list in accordance with the Program Rules.

A student is required to obtain #16 from the MBA List comprising -

  • #4 from Part A; and
  • #12 from Part B.
