- the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration from UQ, or
- the Graduate Certificate in Executive Leadership from UQ, or
- a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline, and
- 4 years full-time equivalent, relevant work experience (see below).
You must have a grade point average (GPA) of 4.0 on a 7-point scale in your previous qualification.
International applicants must have completed the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) with a minimum score of 550.

The following supporting documentation is required for all applications. Please ensure that you have included ALL required documentation when you submit your application:
- Official transcripts of previous studies.
- Evidence of work experience including details of management experience (or people or projects) in the form of a CV. Please ensure that your CV includes your full work history, and outlines the major activities you undertake on a daily basis.
- Two written references that are work related. Your referees need to substantiate the nature of your work and the managerial duties you currently perform. They should verify details including but not limited to: managing a team of people, managing client accounts, the managerial components of any major projects you have been directly responsible for, and/or financial delegations for which you are directly responsible. All references should be dated, signed and preferably on company letterhead. All references must be to the satisfaction of the MBA Director.
Applicants may be required to pass a qualifying examination in one or all of the following before enrolment is approved: basic computing, written communication, basic mathematics, and statistics.

To complete the Graduate Diploma in Business Administration
To graduate with a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration a student must have successfully completed all requirements of the program as certified by the Executive Dean. This includes courses to be taken to complete the program and any other specific conditions of the program including admission, enrolment and progression requirements.
