Why study the Graduate Certificate in Economics?
This qualification provides economics training, and is equally accessible and beneficial to economics and non-economics graduates. What you can do with a Graduate Certificate in Economics
Careers
Since the Graduate Certificate in Economics is of only one semester duration, the skills acquired would need to be complemented by other skills and/or training possessed by the graduate. The graduate certificate program would be useful for business graduates, scientists, engineers and librarians as they would gain some skills in economics.

To complete the Graduate Certificate in Economics
To fulfil the requirements of the Graduate Certificate in Economics, a student must complete the requisite number of courses chosen from the course list in accordance with the Program Rules.
A student is required to obtain #8 from the GCEcon List comprising -
- #6 from Part A (unless the student previously has passed the equivalent courses); and
- the balance from Part B.
