Why study Applying and Evaluating the Science of Learning in Practice?
The module will enable students to develop the skills necessary to critically engage with research and evidence relevant to their context. It will also assist them in conducting and leading research in their own context, such as conducting exploratory studies, evaluating existing programs or practices, or implementing and evaluating the impact of interventions.
English proficiency is recommended for students undertaking this module. Students will have up to 3 months to complete the module.
What you can study
This module will provide participants with an introduction to key aspects of research methodology relevant to conducting research and/or implementing research-informed practices in their own educational or training context. This will include the development of skills in identifying a research problem, developing/identifying research questions, research design, developing and sourcing measures, data analysis and interpretation, and communicating research findings.
