Why study A Multidisciplinary Lens on Learning - From the Synapse to Society?
This module will be valuable for educators who are interested in learning more about the current research around neuroscience, psychology and education, and how it can be used to inform learning and teaching. It will support educators to develop a more critical understanding of the research and related evidence. This is a valuable skill to develop in a climate of varying brain-based claims in education. The research and learning activities addressed in the module will encourage participants to develop a more critical and reflective approach to their own practice. The module will provide a broad overview of the science of learning which will assist participants to identify further areas of interest or inquiry, be that in their own practice or for further study. English proficiency is recommended for students undertaking this module.
Students will have up to 3 months to complete the module.
