- General English subject (Units 3 & 4, C); and
- an audition and interview with the School of Music.
Applicants must arrange an audition with the School of Music, to take place between 1 September and 30 November of the year preceding admission. Additional application requirements
Selection is based on audition, interview and academic results.An audition program of no longer than 15 minutes must be prepared. Details must be provided to the School of Music when the applicant arranges the audition. For an audition to be at a competitive standard, the repertoire performed should be comparable to Grade 7 AMEB.

What you can do with a Bachelors of Music / Arts
Careers
Graduates of the Bachelor of Arts find employment in a wide range of fields, with future directions dependent on the chosen area of study. Specialised areas of study can lead to careers in Psychology or Journalism, while study in History, Political Science, and Criminology, can provide the basis for careers in government, business, media, and humanitarian fields. Bachelor of Music graduates may gain employment in areas such as performance, accompanying, composing, arranging, lecturing, music editing, arts or education administration, librarianship, research, music programming, media work (journalist, critic, author), music education (instrumental school or studio).
Program rules for the Bachelors of Music / Arts
To complete the Bachelors of Music / Arts
To graduate with a Bachelors of Music / Arts a student must have successfully completed all requirements of the program as certified by the Executive Dean. This includes courses to be taken to complete the program and any other specific conditions of the program including admission, enrolment and progression requirements.
