- have secured an honours project and supervisor, and

Why study the Bachelor of Veterinary Technology (Honours)?
This program will comprise an honours year tailored to Veterinary Technology graduates. It provides advanced training in clinical, regulatory, diagnostic or other para-professional streams applicable to veterinary technologists, as well as training in research. The advanced clinical training will involve working in either the University's Veterinary Teaching Hospital or an approved, external placement.
Students will undertake advanced professional training under the guidance of a supervisor, graduating with advanced skills and knowledge and enhanced employment opportunities.

Additional application requirements
You'll be exposed to animals and agricultural environments as part of your learning. Immunisations against tetanus and Q fever are mandatory and you'll be required to provide evidence of immunisation upon commencement of the program. Q fever screening and vaccination is currently only available in Australia. Refer to the UQ Student Immunisation Requirements for more information.

To complete the Bachelor of Veterinary Technology (Honours)
To graduate with a Bachelor of Veterinary Technology (Honours) a student must have successfully completed all requirements of the program as certified by the Executive Dean. This includes courses to be taken to complete the program and any other specific conditions of the program including admission, enrolment and progression requirements.
