Program rules for the Bachelors of Engineering (Honours)/Mathematics
To complete the Bachelors of Engineering (Honours)/Mathematics
To fulfil the requirements of the Bachelors of Engineering (Honours)/Mathematics, a student must complete the requisite number of courses chosen from the course list in accordance with the Program Rules.
A student is required to obtain 80 units comprising
- 60 units toward the BE (Hons) component, comprising -
(i ) 50 to 60 units from the BE (Hons) course list for a BE (Hons) field; and
(ii) the balance, if any, from courses on the BE (Hons) course list or BMath course list or other courses approved by the executive dean; and - 20 units towards the BMath component, comprising -
(i ) 6 to 8 units from part A of the BMath course list which are not common compulsory courses (students must not enrol in STAT1301); and
(ii) The balance from part B or part C of the BMath course list or a combination of both.
