Additional application information
To become a registered psychologist in Australia, the completion of a four-year psychology program is required; plus the completion of a professional masters, doctorate or PhD program in psychology, or two years' supervised practice as a psychologist. Postgraduate professional qualifications are a distinct advantage when competing for professional jobs as a psychologist.
Psychology can also be studied through the Bachelor of Arts or the Bachelor of Science. These programs, with an additional honours year, both meet the undergraduate requirements for professional registration when combined with the completion of professional masters level or higher qualification in psychology or two years supervised experience as a psychologist.

These kinds of questions are explored in the Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours), which examines the complexity, intricacy and wonder of the human mind. This program is designed for students looking to undertake comprehensive studies in psychology, including the study of developmental, social, cognitive, biological, physiological and abnormal psychology. Students are taught how to understand the ways people behave, think and feel, and provided with important skills so to enable them to progress to further study, or enter the workforce with confidence.
