Prerequisites
Entry to the 5 year program BE/ME will be via student application after completion of at least #48 towards a BE in a relevant discipline and is available only to students who are performing at Honours level (i.e. a cumulative weighted GPA of at least 5.0) at the time of application.
Additional application information
Please note that eligible students will continue to receive Centrelink income support for their fourth year of the BE/ME, but cease to be eligible for payments in the fifth year of the program.

Closing Date
Friday before Orientation Wk. Apply for the BE/ME (Sem 1 of 4th yr) to organise your placement. Apply through mySI-net after Sem 2 exam results are released until Friday before Orientation Wk (Sem 1).

The integrated Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Engineering (BE/ME) is the first 5 year engineering degree in Australia to integrate a semester placement, either in industry or research, into a degree with the Master's level course work.
