Prerequisites
- To be eligible for admission, a person must have completed the program requirements for the Bachelor of Commerce (or equivalent award), including all courses listed as pre-requisites for entry into honours, with a GPA of at least 5.5 for an approved combination of courses.
- Applicants who completed an equivalent award must demonstrate that an equivalent body of knowledge has been gained to an equivalent standard. Entry to the program for these applicants may be subject to completion of additional work.
- Approval is required from the executive dean where the degree used for entry was completed more than two years prior to program commencement. If enrolment is approved, the executive dean may set conditions.

Why study the Bachelor of Commerce (Honours)?
The honours program provides Bachelor of Commerce graduates with an extra year of high quality study to enhance their business and finance skills. This program will appeal to high achieving students eager to pursue research and more advanced coursework.
An honours degree demonstrates to employers that you are someone with exceptional ability and superior skills. Places are strictly limited and awarded on the basis of academic merit. The program can also act a stepping stone to the Master of Philosophy or PhD.
Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) students can choose from a range of courses in areas including finance, accounting and business information systems. They are also required to complete a research thesis.

Program rules for the Bachelor of Commerce (Honours)
To complete the Bachelor of Commerce (Honours)
To graduate with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) a student must have successfully completed all requirements of the program as certified by the Executive Dean. This includes courses to be taken to complete the program and any other specific conditions of the program including admission, enrolment and progression requirements.
