There is no mid-year intake into the LLB. Only students who already have a place in the LLB can commence in semester two.

Program rules for the Bachelors of Commerce/Laws
To complete the Bachelors of Commerce/Laws
To fulfil the requirements of the Bachelors of Commerce/Laws, a student must complete the requisite number of courses chosen from the course list in accordance with the Program Rules.
A student is required to obtain #88 comprising -
- #22 of compulsory courses from Group 1 of the BCom List (not including LAWS1100); and
- #38 of compulsory courses from Part A of the LLB List; and
- either
- #10 of commerce electives from Group 3 of the BCom List (not including LAWS3100, LAWS3101, LAWS3102 and LAWS3103)(#6 must be at level 3, and only #2 may be at level 1); or
- Accounting major: #10 from the Accounting major in Group 2 of the BCom list including ACCT3101/3102/3103/3104 and LAWS5144 (plus LAWS4112 in Part A of the LLB list); or
- Finance major: #10 from the Finance major in Group 2 of the BCom list (plus LAWS5144 towards Part B of the LLB list); and
- #18 of elective courses from Parts B and/or C of the LLB List. LAWS5144 must be included if taking a Finance major, and LAWS5144 cannot be included if taking an Accounting major.
