Careers
The Bachelor of Education (Honours) prepares students for employment as teachers or educational administrators. It also provides the possibility of progressing more quickly than otherwise towards the PhD degree.
Program rules for the Bachelor of Education (Secondary) (Honours)
To complete the Bachelor of Education (Secondary) (Honours)
To fulfil the requirements of the Bachelor of Education (Secondary) (Honours), a student must complete the requisite number of courses chosen from the course list in accordance with the Program Rules.
A student is required to obtain #16 from part H of the BEd(Sec) list comprising:
- #2 for a research methods course;
- #6 from the MEdSt list; and
- #8 for a thesis course.
