Why study Zoology?
Study Zoology to learn how animals relate and interact with their physical and biological environments. You will investigate animal morphology, development and genetics, ecology and animal behaviour. Learn how to apply common mathematical models used to analyse biological data to predict complex biological outcomes. Expand your knowledge of climate change biology, wildlife and conservation biology, environmental physiology, and mathematical applications in biology. Combine your study of animals with biostatistics, ecology, marine biology, genetics or entomology. You'll gain practical experience through field courses offered in the Australian outback, rainforests, Stradbroke Island and the Great Barrier Reef. Zoology is available as a minor, major and extended major.
