Why study Writing, Editing & Publishing?
With the explosion of text-creating and publishing opportunities in the contemporary workplace has come a growing demand for writing and editing expertise. Students are given the opportunity to hone their writing, editing, and designing skills to enhance their career path in today's communication- intensive world. This Masters program offers a student the opportunity for sustained academic research, argument and presentation, as well as the acquisition of in-depth knowledge of the field of study, effective communication, and critical judgement. The Master of Arts in Writing, Editing and Publishing incorporates a supervised dissertation of 15,000-20,000 words on a writing, editing, and publishing topic, which a student undertakes following successful completion of the Graduate Diploma in Writing, Editing, and Publishing.
