Why study Science of Learning?
The Science of Learning is an interdisciplinary field that combines insights from neuroscience, psychology, and education to explore how people learn throughout their lives. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of the cognitive, neurological, psychological, physical, social and emotional processes involved in learning.
Designed for educators and leaders of learning at all stages of their career and in diverse contexts, this field of study will develop your knowledge, skills, and efficacy to support you in designing and actioning meaningful, contextually relevant learning experiences. With a focus on school-aged learning, you will strengthen your understanding of the principles of cognitive science across the learning lifespan and develop capabilities to critically engage with both research and practice-based evidence to understand effective teaching and learning practices.
Graduates are equipped to consider, translate, apply and evaluate the impact of this science to develop meaningful learning experiences for their students inside the classroom and in other educational contexts.
