Why study Science of Learning?
The Science of Learning field of study will strengthen understanding of principles of cognitive science and to translate the current and emerging research from the science of learning (neuroscience, education, psychology) into practice. It will provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the neurological, psychological, physical, cognitive, social, and emotional processes involved in learning across the lifespan, with a focus on school-age learners. The program will provide educators at all stages of their career with the capabilities to critically engage with both research and practice-based evidence and consider ways to translate this into meaningful learning experiences for diverse learners, and to lead the science of learning within their own educational contexts.
