Why study Psychology?
Psychology is a broad ranging discipline that includes the scientific study of human behaviour and mental processes, and the systematic application of this knowledge in specific contexts such as mental health (clinical psychology), work (organisational psychology), education or sport. Many people who study psychology will not go on to become psychologists, but will find their training in psychology to be highly relevant and useful in their lives and work. Those who do become psychologists may work in a variety of settings including hospitals, schools, government bodies, large corporations, or in private practice.
