Why study Literacy?
This field provides classroom teachers with professional knowledge about current research-based approaches to the teaching of literacy. There is flexibility for students in the Guided Study or Special Topic to undertake a work-place project building on ideas developed in other courses. Flexibility of the program is essential to its success given the context of students who are also practising classroom teachers. Therefore the field will be offered utilising the study opportunities available via Blackboard in both internal and external modes with flexible delivery.
