Why study Environment and Society?

Understand how environmental crises such as climate change, waste and biodiversity loss are tied to social, political, economic and cultural processes. In this major, you will learn to connect your advanced understanding of environmental issues with social science skills to co-design socially and environmentally just and sustainable futures.

Graduate career destinations range from working with environmental community organisations, to government, consultancy and the private sector.
