Why study Environment?
Coordinated by the Centre for Mined Land Rehabilitation (CMLR), the Environment field will guide students through issues of environmental responsibility and sustainable mining in the extractives industry. Today's best practice requires skilled mining professionals who can identify environmental issues and implement integrated environmental management plans. These courses will cover the latest developments in environmental management, vegetation and habitat rehabilitation, mine waste management, water management, and managing the complexities of post-mining landscapes.
