Courses are available in core competencies, marketing, international business operations, new venture management and business strategy. Students also study established areas and emerging issues in business such as corporate governance; issues effecting small business; management of virtual organisations; management of research and development; innovation and competitiveness strategies; commercialisation; and the management of biotechnology ventures.

It is anticipated that graduates will find employment across a range of private and public sector organisations including small business, technological development companies, universities and research foundations, and any organisations that invest in research and development.
