Why study English and Literacy?
Expand your English and Literacy knowledge by engaging imaginatively and critically with classic and contemporary literature. In this study area you will have the opportunity to learn how Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples have contributed to Australian society and to contemporary literature. You can learn about literary heritage and the distinctive ways of representing and communicating knowledge, traditions and experience. Be introduced to creative writing and narrative through the art and techniques of short-form narrative prose fiction as well as concepts and strategies that will enhance your ability to revise and edit your work.
