Economics is central to understanding issues relating to business, markets, trade, governments, globalisation, health, development, and the environment. It focuses on the analytical tools you'll need to design and evaluate public policies. This minor will prepare you for your first job and beyond ' as an analyst, adviser, or economist in either the public or private sector.
