Why study Earth Science?
Study Earth Science to learn how remote-sensing technologies and geographical information science (GIS) software is used to analyse geological processes and monitor changes in the Earth's environment. Deepen your understanding of the Earth's processes and energy sources by exploring topics such as mineral and rock analysis, mining geology, environmental geology, marine geology, palaeobiology or geochemistry. You will develop and apply your knowledge through practical laboratory experience, fieldwork, and specialised seminars. Earth Science is available as a minor, major and extended major.
