Why study Defence?
This plan is designed to equip students with the academic, professional and management attributes that will enable them to approach Defence health issues from a population health perspective. It is designed to provide students with a broad understanding of public health issues and to specifically address health issues relevant to the Australian Defence Forces and Veterans' Affairs. Courses in this field can be completed externally and are designed specifically for personnel from both the Department of Defence and the Department of Veterans' Affairs including those on active service, reservists, those who have completed their service or are involved in the provision of health related services to the Military and Veterans. Students must hold a 4-year degree in health, behavioural, social, agricultural or biological sciences and have completed relevant work experience satisfactory to the Executive Dean. Summer Semester entrey not available for international students.
