Why study Chinese?
The Chinese culture is sufficiently different from English-speaking culture. By learning the Chinese language, one will develop skills to deal with a language and culture that are different to what the learners have grown up with. With those skills, learners will be able to adapt to a completely different way of thinking and a different way of living, which are the most important skills for the future.
