Why study Chemical Biology?
Study chemical biology to gain in-depth knowledge of how genetic information and protein structures can catalyse the chemical reactions that allow cells to function. You will apply the principles of inorganic and organic chemistry to investigate the nature of chemical reactions in biological systems at the molecular level. Explore the chemical and imaging techniques used to analyse cellular processes and biomolecular interactions. Learn how to simulate biological systems using computational methods. Studying Chemical Biology will complement majors within Biological and Biomedical Sciences.
