Why study Chinese/Australian Comparative Law?
This field is designed to engage students interested in a detailed comparative study of the Chinese and Australian legal systems. It is a unique offering that allows students to study a range of legal issues including investment law, property law (intellectual property, and real and personal property), and tort and contracts, as they exist in both China and Australia. In addition, students will gain expertise in the key international issues that affect these disciplines, and will have the opportunity to undertake additional electives in areas such as maritime law, international trade law, comparative constitutional law and international commercial arbitration.
