This field provides advanced specialised training in physiotherapy management of cardiac and respiratory disorders. Courses emphasise both clinical and theoretical knowledge and use an active learning approach. Students develop clinical research skills, and enhance their understanding of patient management strategies including behavioural aspects of critical illness.
