Why study Animal Agricultural Biotechnology?
Specialise in Animal Biotechnology and develop the skills and knowledge required to aid and understand animals in an agricultural setting. You will gain knowledge and skills in animal and molecular biology, genetic engineering, animal reproductive biotechnology, animal vaccines, disease diagnostic equipment, and develop multidisciplinary research and business skills needed to translate discoveries from the laboratory to real life. Graduates will find research and development opportunities with animal breeding consultancies and companies, livestock industries, private or government veterinary animal diagnostic facilities, livestock biotechnology companies, and animal health companies, among others.
