Why study Accounting?
Courses in the accounting major allow you to develop the skills necessary for entry into the accounting profession. Accountants typically prepare and analyse financial reports for a variety of clients including regulators, corporations and investors. Students complete the accounting major and use their electives to study the necessary prerequisites for associate membership of the key Australian accounting professional bodies, Certified Practicing Accountants (CPA) Australia and the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ).
