Why study Accounting?
Accounting is a dynamic profession that is concerned with so much more than just number crunching. As an accountant, you will develop the skills to provide professional advice to managers in industry, government and the not-for-profit sector on issues such as organisational performance, capital structure, and how best to communicate financial as well as non-financial data to interested stakeholders. As a graduate from the Business School at the University of Queensland, you will be eligible for professional recognition from ACCA, CPA Australia, the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) and the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA). Study accounting and build the foundations for a life-long, rewarding career.
