Course description
A contextual approach to animal health technologies with a focus on small animal species including laboratory animals. The emphasis will be on husbandry, behaviour, handling, nutrition ansd assessment of health in addition to gross and microscopic pathology, biological specimen collection, principles of infection control, basic pharmocology, gene technology applications and occupational health and safety issues in animal health technologies.
